Snow and ice is expected to accumulate mid morning. Since we have so many families traveling distances and several student drivers, we are concerned that students will wind up stuck at school. Several schools have closed in this area so we will follow suit. We will do a makeup in May. Enjoy your Valentine weekend.

The show is ready to embark on a fun and amazing rehearsal
process to bring an original show and 40 very talented
actors to our black box performance space. The project has
been awarded a grant from Fulton County Arts Council and we
are very excited to bring quality theater to our school and
community. If you would like to be involved behind the
scenes, please let Karen know. There are a lot of jobs that
need filling -
Spring Semester starts February 2nd. Registration forms are

Seniors need to make an appointment for final transcripts
and graduation details.
We are now offering private piano, guitar and voice lessons.
We also have tutors in all subjects. Full time Pierian
Springs students receive these services at a discounted
rate. Piano lessons are available on Tuesday or Friday.
Guitar is on Friday. Voice is on wed afternoon or Monday
morning.
Just a reminder: School is not in session this Monday, January 18, 2010 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Pierian Springs is hosting an open house on Friday, January 15th from 1PM -3 PM. We would love for you to stop by to see what we’re all about. Jonathan B. participated on the 2008 Inline Speed Skating World Team that represented the United States at the Federation Internationale de Roller Sports ( FIRS) Speed Skating World Championships in Gijon, Spain September 4-12.
Skyla P., a member of the Nellya Fencing Club, won the youth-14 (14-and-under) women’s saber at the national championships in Grapevine, Texas, giving her four individual national championships. She also recently competed in international competition in Konin, Poland. Mason C. appeared in the Georgia Shakespeare Theater's production of Julius Caesar opening on October 8.
